I have a diesel car that has become redundant due to the diesel vehicle ban. Should I sell it in the second-hand market or go for dismantling? Which option is better?

Selling the car in the second-hand market will be a relatively straightforward process, though it may not fetch as much as dismantling and selling it for parts. The latter can offer better returns but requires more effort, time, and involvement to ensure you get a fair price. If you're willing to invest the resources, dismantling and parting it out could be more rewarding.
