I travel about 60 km daily in Mumbai traffic (Navi Mumbai to Andheri), with monthly highway trips and an annual trip to Kerala. I currently own a Skoda Rapid diesel automatic (1,00,000 km in 6 years). I feel an SUV will give a better driving position (having used the Ford Ecosport for 5 years). I’m considering the Honda Elevate AT for smooth driving, ride comfort, and boot space. My budget is ₹18-20 lakh. Please advise.

While the Honda Elevate is comfortable over bad roads, the Hyundai Creta is the stronger choice in this budget and segment.
It offers more space and also has a diesel-automatic option. If you prefer petrol, the Creta’s petrol-CVT is excellent and will be a better buy.
