Hi, I’m planning to buy a new car in the ₹13–14 lakh range, and I’m considering the Maruti Suzuki Victoris. Is it a safe SUV to go for? What safety features and crash test ratings does it offer?

    Asked by: Karthikeyan Iyer
The Maruti Suzuki Victoris has secured a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, making it one of the safest SUVs in Maruti’s line-up. Safety kit is comprehensive, with six airbags, ESP with traction control, ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, and all-wheel disc brakes offered as standard. Maruti Victoris top trims bring in a 360-degree HD camera, parking sensors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
The big highlight is Maruti’s first Level-2 ADAS suite, which adds adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and blind spot monitoring. Combined with ISOFIX mounts and robust crash protection, the Victoris ticks all the right boxes on safety. For more details, read our Maruti Victoris safety rating news.
