While the Mahindra XEV 9e is a five-seat SUV-coupe and the XEV 9S is a seven-seat SUV, the models are identical in most other ways. The only major point of difference is suspension tune. The 9s is set up softer and doesn't feel as settled as the 9e does. Since you don't require the third row, the better riding 9e will make more sense for you. Do note, both SUVs are physically quite large, but their tight turning circles and light steering make them feel smaller than they are.
