Adventure bikes generally have a tall seat and could be a challenge for you to manage with your height. With that in mind, we suggest that you start with a smaller, lighter ADV bike like the Hero Xpulse 200 or Xpulse 210. We would also urge you to attend an off-road riding academy, where you can learn techniques that will help you manage better on a bike with a tall seat

Asked by: Ravikant Mishra I own a Royal Enfield Thunderbird Twin Spark (2011) — it’s been very comfortable for my mostly city riding (under 200 km/week), but it’s now nearing the end of its life. Should I modify and re-register this bike for more comfort, or buy a newer model that offers medium seating height, strong road presence, and excellent comfort for daily urban commutes and occasional longer rides? Please suggest models under ₹2 lakh. We'd suggest that you look at a newer bike, primarily due to ethanol-blended fuels that are likely to cause problems with older motorcycles, even if they have been refurbished. We suggest you look within the Royal Enfield family itself at options like the Meteor 350, Classic 350, or Bullet 350 to meet the requirements that you have highlighted

Asked by: Abhishek Jain I currently own a Suzuki Gixxer (2018) - it runs well and gives a good average, but I feel like changing now. I’m 5'7" and weigh around 56 kg, and I was thinking of switching to the Xpulse Pro. What do you advise? The new Hero Xpulse 210 is a good choice as it makes for a very comfortable city commuter as well. You might find the seat height a little tall, so we'd suggest that you take a test ride before making a decision. If that's the case, you could consider other motorcycles like the TVS Apache RTR 160 or 200 or the new Yamaha XSR 155 as good upgrades

Asked by: Simanta Kashyap Hi, this is the second time I’m asking for advice. I’m a proud owner of an R15S (2016) with around 1.5 lakh km and it has never given me any issues. I’m planning to upgrade mainly because it lacks ABS. Earlier, you suggested the MT-15 based on my requirements, but now that the XSR155 is launching, I prefer it over the MT. The new Yamaha XSR 155 will have a more roomy and spacious riding position than the Yamaha MT-15. If you like the design, you can switch your choice. Given that this motorcycle is based on an existing and proven platform, there shouldn't be any serious issues, and you can make your purchase soon.

Asked by: Vinod I’m planning to buy a new car with a budget of ₹13.5-14 lakh. I’ve shortlisted the Kia Sonet HTX Petrol Automatic, but with the launch of the new Hyundai Venue, I’m confused. We’re a family of three: my wife, my 10-year-old son, and I. My yearly usage is around 10,000 km, mostly city driving with occasional long drives once every two months. Comparing the features of Sonet HTX, a Venue with similar features seems pricey. Which one should I go for? I prefer an automatic car. The Hyundai Venue is a newer car in comparison to the Kia Sonet, which is almost two years old now. Even though the Venue is newer and has new features, the powertrain is the same as the Sonet. So, performance-wise, you won't be gaining much with the Venue.Since your use is primarily in the city, a good automatic gearbox is important, and both the Sonet and Venue get a DCT gearbox that is not the smoothest.If you are open to trying other options, the Mahindra XUV 3XO is a good alternative, as you get the same feature list but with a smoother torque converter automatic gearbox. The AX5 trim would be in your budget and is worth checking out.

The Tata Curvv diesel has the advantage with its larger size and better ride quality in comparison to the XUV 3XO and the Hyundai Venue.However, in your budget, you can get a better spec'd Mahindra XUV 3XO with almost the same amount of room. The AX7 trim would be a good choice with a well-equipped cabin and a smooth diesel engine.

Kindly suggest to me the best SUV in this price range. A good choice to avoid the hassles of diesel while retaining the efficiency is a strong hybrid. I’m not keen on gimmicky features. I’m leaning toward the Citroen Aircross X but also considering the 3XO, Taisor, and Honda City. We suggest going for the Citroen Aircross X or the Basalt as they are larger than the Mahindra 3XO, Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor or even the Honda City.Both are these Citroen cars are spacious, have excellent ride quality, and offer great comfort in the front and rear seats. The turbo petrol engine has ample power for city and highway use, and the massive boot adds to its practicality. While it misses out on a few features compared to the Mahindra XUV 3XO, it more than makes up for it with comfort and practicality, which perfectly suit your needs.

Please suggest which car I should choose between the Honda Amaze and the Maruti Suzuki Dzire. Between the Honda Amaze and the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, we would suggest going for the Dzire, as it offers a more comfortable ride quality, and the seats are more supportive. It is also the better-equipped of the two.The only real advantage the Honda has over the Maruti Suzuki is its polished CVT automatic compared to the basic AMT on the Dzire, which matters only if you are considering an automatic.
