Asked by: Rishabh I am looking to buy a second small car for Mumbai city for my wife. She is a new driver and will use it mainly for local commuting with my child. I want an automatic. My budget is up to Rs 10 lakh, and I am looking for something very compact and practical. I liked the MG Comet, but found it very overpriced and could not find any substitute for it. I also considered the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, but could not get over the looks of the Comet. Any suggestions would be helpful. An electric car, especially the MG Comet, is a great option for Mumbai, especially considering your wife will only drive it in the city, and with only your child as a passenger. Its biggest advantage is its ultra-compact size, which makes it incredibly manoeuvrable and easy to park in the smallest of spaces. Plus, it has light controls and plenty of pep, and is surprisingly spacious for its tiny size.Do note, however, that the range from the small battery is not great, and it is best to have a charger installed at home. If you can get past its unconventional look, the MG Comet is in many ways the ideal city car. However, if you want something more conventional, the Tata Tiago EV is available at a slightly higher price. Asked by: Prashant My running is less than 1000 km per month I have shortlisted some of the cars 1. Kia syros 2. New Hundai venue 3. Tata nexon 4. Maruti breeza Within 12 lakh in same price range which will be best and safest value for money family car among these and which will be better petrol, diesel or cng It'll be best to stick to petrol, as the premium you will be paying for a diesel or CNG won't be justified for a mere 1000km monthly run. Between the four cars you've listed, the Hyundai Venue seems to be the most rounded option in terms of space, comfort, features and sophistication. The new Venue hasn't been crash tested as yet, however, like others, it packs in all the essential safety kit like 6 airbags, ESP, hill-start assist, etc. Asked by: Sathish I’m a new driver looking for a premium automatic hatchback within a ₹10 lakh budget. I’ve shortlisted the Baleno Zeta AGS, Tata Altroz Creative AMT, and Hyundai i20 Sportz iVT. Considering fuel efficiency, reliability, safety, comfort for long drives, and ease of driving as a beginner, which of these three is the best option? The Maruti Baleno AGS is a proven, reliable hatchback, which will be the most fuel-efficient option from the bunch. It offers good space, comfort and is likely to deliver a trouble-free ownership experience. Between the three, it is the best option for a new driver. You could also consider a Toyota Glanza, which is the badge-engineered Baleno, but comes with beige-black interiors. Asked by: Sohail Hi, I am currently planning to buy a 400cc bike. I have shortlisted the NS400Z, Duke 390 and the Speed T4. I will be using the bike only occasionally, mostly for 100-150km rides. Please suggest which one I should go for. All three bikes you've shortlisted are quite different to one another, so the bike you should choose entirely depends on your riding style and intended purpose. The Triumph Speed T4 has the most relaxed and effortless riding experience with its torquey engine and upright, neutral ergonomics. The KTM 390 Duke is its polar opposite, with its peaky single-cylinder engine dishing out the most power, and its chassis will be superb if you intend to do a lot of twisty road riding. Do bear in mind that its suspension is on the stiffer side, which will be felt when going over road imperfections.Lastly, the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z splits the difference between the two in terms of power, features and handling and is also the most affordable bike you've shortlisted. We recommend taking a test ride of the bikes you've shortlisted before making a decision.
